Massive Strides.  Green Footprints.

Suminter India Organics was built on the idea of creating an efficient bridge between small farmers in India and buyers across the world seeking high-quality organic produce.  We adopted an integrated approach to procuring, monitoring and selling our products to make the process as efficient, transparent and fair as possible.  Our goal is to stay ahead of the curve through constant innovation, by forecasting customer demands, and investing in the best infrastructure.

Suminter started out as a small trading company, sourcing and supplying organic produce from India to buyers internationally.  While we wanted to bring healthy and socially-responsible goods to market, we also wanted to ensure the well-being of small and marginal farmers.  As a trading company, we were ill-equipped for the multiple challenges this posted.  Not only did we need to make organic farming an economically-viable option for farmers, we also had to guarantee the marketability of this produce by delivering globally-accepted quality standards.

Constant interaction with foreign markets, insights into changing consumer expectations and the emphasis on end-to-end quality control made it clear that to ensure a winning proposition for all, the best way forward was one that allows no short-cuts.  Our organizaitonal structure and our operations had to be transformed and scaled up to realize our vision, and to this end, we adopted an integrated approach to procuring, monitoring, and selling our products.
