Quality consciousness is hardwired into our operations and every assurance from us is backed by a robust system that monitors and controls quality from end to end: from the choice of seeds most suited to the unique conditions of each farm, to prompt customer service and accurate delivery of every order.
Suminter's commitment to quality is further demonstrated by our full-fledged Quality Assurance team and in-house laboratory equipped with all the necessary apparatus to test on all physical, microbial, and chemical parameters. The laboratory has been equipped with over 20 apparatus to allow us the in-house capability to test for extraneous matters, moisture, bulk density, granulation, e.coli, salmonella, platelet counts, pesticide and aflatoxins. Suminter will continue its world-class practice of receiving supporting tests from internationally recognized laboratories to support any in-house testing.
Suminter India has divided its Quality Assurance Department into four major functions which are detailed below.
Customer Service Lab: The customer service lab is responsible for servicing the client from managing customer specific specifications to maintaining the traceability from RM to FG.
Laboratory: The laboratory team is trained to measure physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of all incoming raw materials to ensure the integrity and quality of the product. They coordinate with our International and domestic laboratories for all supporting testing.
In Process Quality Control: The IPQC team follows the physical movement of the RM issue to the FG production to ensure semi-finished goods are matching with the desired requirements at various stages of processing.
Food Safety Management: The FSM Team ensures Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed at all times; they also monitor the critical control points to ensure physical, chemical and biological outputs.
